While RPE's main preference is Jumper competitions, RPE has competed in Jumpers, Hunters, Pleasure, and Equitation in the local horse show series over the years. RPE horses have been invited to the Thoroughbred Alliance Horse Show and the Colonial Classic Horse Show upon winning several divisions in the Jumpers and Hunters at the local BEST Horse Show Series.

While competing is plenty fun, RPE makes it a mission to enjoy more than just ribbons with the opportunities that horses bring. RPE regularly makes trips out trail riding to nearby state parks as well as occasionally trying out the small cross-country jumps available. RPE plans swimming trips annually during the summer season and is constantly looking for more locations to add to the swim list. RPE has participated in fox hunt clinics in the past with various regional hunt clubs and plans to continue participation with the Marlboro Hunt Club sometime down the line. RPE also keeps an eye out for fundraising events such as Pimlico's Canter for the Cause which is always a blast. And if any trail ride obstacle courses come up RPE will go out of our way to get more details. I also have fun setting up my own obstacles and cross country jumps at home to further test my horses and to make sure that they are ready for anything that comes their way when they go off-property.
